McKelvey Construction is proud to serve the community by providing them with places to both work and play.
Whether it’s refurbishing and updating sports facilities or giving young people a place to socialise after school, we’re known for our excellent construction and building alterations in the sports and leisure sector. Our past projects have enriched the lives of locals, brought joy to visiting tourists, and best of all, been carried out with the professionalism and expertise required to finish construction on time and under budget
Ballymacool Leisure Park was developed by McKelvey Construction on a 26 acre green field site. The project scope included a cut and fill process to achieve required levels and gradients comprising of approx 30,000m3. McKelvey Construction incorporated a drainage retention system to retain surface and ground water loss. Project scope also included fencing to the site boundary, formation of paths, formal gardens, muga pitch, car parking, landscaping and the construction of a toilet block and maintenance building. As part of the project, security and site lighting and a CCTV system were installed. Due to the restricted timeline allocated for completion of the works, a project execution plan was devised and developed. By adhering to this plan using our experience and timed scheduling of our supply chain network, we were able to deliver the project to a high standard within the allocated timeframe and budget without incident or defects.
